Membership

Paid subscribers to Meg Loves History on Substack will read the whole record here: the full research graph and the library. Membership is being set up. Until it opens, everything on this site is free to read.

How it will work

  1. Subscribe on Substack

Choose a paid subscription to Meg Loves History: $5 a month or $50 a year. It is the same subscription that supports Meg's essays.

  2. Sign in here with the same email

We will send a one-time sign-in link to the address you gave Substack. There is no password to remember; you can add a passkey afterwards. Sign-in opens when membership does.

  3. The graph and library open

Every connection between the people, places and events of medieval England, with where each one comes from and how certain it is, and the library's full texts as each is cleared for members.

What stays free

Meg's essays, search, a summary of every person, place and event, and the first chapter of every source in the library.

Questions

I subscribed in the Substack iPhone app.
Apple bills those subscriptions, so they reach us through Substack's subscriber list rather than straight away: allow up to a week. If you would rather not wait, write to [email protected].
I have a gift or complimentary subscription.
The same: it arrives with Substack's subscriber list, within a week, or write to us.
I used a different email on Substack.
Sign in here with the email your Substack subscription uses. That address is the only thing that connects the two.
How do I change or cancel?
On Substack, in your Substack account. Access here follows your subscription and ends when its paid period does.
What will you know about me?
Your email address and whether your subscription is active. Payment details stay with Substack and Stripe. The privacy page will set out exactly what is kept and for how long.
